Staff Biography/Tressa Crosby

Tressa Crosby serves as the community health worker for Muskegon Community Health Project's Muskegon Area Pathways Partnership which is sponsored by the March of Dimes. She has over five years of experience in outreach to at-risk, ethnically diverse and low-income populations. Ms. Crosby has coordinated two federally funded grant programs, Lead-Safe Muskegon, a lead hazard reduction coalition funded by the Dept. of Housing and Urban Development and Mentoring Children of Prisoners, a mentoring program for at risk youth funded by Dept. of Health and Human Services.

In order to promote healthy birth weight babies and healthy pregnancies, Ms. Crosby provides home visits, assists clients in overcoming barriers to health, education, employment and other social services.
