Bonnie B. Hammersley was appointed by the Muskegon County Commissioners as the County Administrator on March 30, 2009.  Bonnie has over 20 years of progressive management experience in local government, with a concentration in managing the delivery of customer-friendly and cost effective services.  Prior to joining Muskegon County, Bonnie was employed by Dane County, the 2nd largest county in the State of Wisconsin for 20 years. Bonnie is most recognized for positive leadership as well as her approach to resolve issues by merging knowledge and talents of key stakeholders in an effort to build and maintain good working relationships. 

She has graduated magna cum laude in Business Administration from Edgewood College, Madison, Wisconsin. She has also completed numerous executive, leadership and administrative training programs throughout her professional career.
