Mary Anne joined Hospice of Muskegon County, Inc., now Harbor Hospice, as a social worker in 1984.  Her leadership skills made her the natural selection for the position of Executive Director in 1989.  Mary Anne is responsible for the leadership and development of Harbor Hospice programs.  In 2010 Harbor Hospice provided end of life care to approximately 750 terminally ill patients and families within Muskegon, Oceana, Newaygo, Ottawa and Mason Counties.  Mary Anne has been the inspiration motivating the Harbor Palliative Care Program in a collaborative manner with community partners.  She has planned many conferences on end of life care, and she is a frequent presenter on the subject.
