Executive Director of West Michigan Therapy since 1993, Louis Churchwell is well known and regarded as one of the most active community leaders in Muskegon.  On MCHP’s Board of Directors for thirteen years, Louis has been instrumental in defining issues of substance abuse, prevention, and the community active in multiple committees.  A lifelong learner, Louis graduated from Muskegon Public Schools, Grand Valley State University and graduate school at Western Michigan University.  In addition to MCHP’s board, he is Vice President of Muskegon Public Schools Board of Directors, and serves on the boards of NAACP and Homeless Continuum of Care A minister with Christ Temple Church, he also is active in youth ministries and has been mentor for multiple youth and young professionals in Muskegon County.
