Board Biography/Tony Moulatsiotis

Raised in Kalamata, Greece, Tony Moulatsiotis has been in the local restaurant business since he opened his first Greek Tony’s Pizza on old Grand Haven Road in 1981. His restaurant pedigree stretches back to the former downtown Tohado House, where he worked in the late 1960s and managed several additional businesses prior to opening his own.   Tony has also been active in multiple community programs leading efforts in developing youth soccer clubs, supporting local music programs, and multiple local health and human service committees. Recognizing his business acumen and exceptional skills in financial issues, Tony was asked to be the treasurer of several local boards, including MCHP, Community Mental Health Services and multiple political and community campaigns. He was elected to Muskegon’s County Commission and then elected as Muskegon’s Treasurer in 2004 where he has enhanced several initiatives of the county.  In 2005, he and Muskegon County Prosecutor Tony Tague opened Two Tony’s Restaurant in Spring Lake, featuring an upscale Italian and Greek menu and recently opened the Olive Tree restaurant.
